new art incoming
This week we've been working on a graphics overhaul of sorts using these https://monstersgoboom.itch.io/nes-style-platformer-tiles as a base.
We adore the sprites Kenney shared and we plan to keep those as is.
We've also been playing with different level tools to make things easier, as the process we were using was painful to say the least.
we were using NesST and C64 charpad to lay out the levels, which was not ideal. we have found a better tool solution ( vs working on our own tools ) which we'll talk about soon.
The limited feedback we have received has been very helpful and we'll be re-working the collision code a bit to solve them.
